SUBANG JAYA, APRIL 15 2012: MAKE a date this April 28 & 29 and show your support for the Wesak Day Charity Bazaar that's taking place at The Summit USJ, in aid of the Dharma Buddhist University (a school of Buddhist thoughts).
The charity bazaar will feature more than 80 booths selling home-cooked food and clothes by volunteers who are also devotees at the Summit Dharma Vihara, as well as an assortment of items like household stuff and books.
The organisers aim to raise RM100,000 from the two-day event, much-needed funds which will be channeled towards the construction of the Dharma Buddhist University located in Bentong, Pahang.
Entrance to the event is free and visitors are encouraged to bring their own food containers and environmentally friendly bags for take way.
A host of activities have been lined up for the event. They include a Chinese calligraphy exhibition by Venerable Master Hui Hai ,Dharma Talk by Venerable Master Hui Hai, a Blood Donation drive, a children's coloring contest and singing performances.

The Blood Donation Campaign will take place on April 28, from 10:00am till 5:00 pm at the Ground Floor (in front of Point B) while the Coloring contest will be held on April 29, 9am at the center concourse.
The highlight of the event will be the Bathing the Buddha ceremony, which will have devotees join in to pour water over the shoulders of Buddha, a ritual that serves as a reminder to purify the mind from evil.
