Harbour Klang coloring contest 2 sep


Egg Tart



Ingredients of crust:
225 gm plain flour
125 gm butter
55 gm icing sugar
1 egg, whisked
a dash vanilla extract
 1tsp Ice water


Ingredients of custard::
6 eggs(yellow only)
sugar at to taste
1/2 tin water
1 tin  Sweetened  milk
1/2 tsp vanilla extract


Method (making crust):
Place butter at room temperature until softened. Cream the butter and sugar with an electric mixer over medium speed until the mixture is smooth, fluffy and light in color.
Add in whisked egg, half at a time, beat over low speed. Add vanilla extract, mix well.
Sift in flour in two batches, scraping down the sides of the bowl between additions with a spatula, and make sure all ingredients combine well. Knead into dough. (see picture)
Roll out the dough to a 1/2 cm thickness. Cut dough with a cookie cutter that is just a bit smaller than your tart tin in size. Line dough in the middle of tart tins, one by one. Lightly press the dough with your thumbs, starting from the bottom then up to the sides. While pressing the dough, turn the tart tin clockwise/anti-clockwise in order to make an even tart shell. Trim away any excess dough.


Method (making custard):
Add sugar into hot water, mix until completely dissolved.
Whisk egg with sweetened milk. Pour in sugar water. Mix well.
Sift egg mixture to get rid of any foam into a tea pot. Carefully pour egg mixture into each tart shell.


Method (baking tarts):
Preheat oven to 200C. Position rack in lower third of oven. Bake tarts for 10 to 15 minutes until the edges are lightly brown.
Lower the heat to 180C. Keep an eye on them. Once you see the custard being puffed up a bit, pull the oven door open about 2 to 3 inches. Bake for another 10 to 15 minutes until the custard is cooked through. Just insert a toothpick into the custard. If it stands on its own, it’s done.

Cameron Valley Bangsar



20/08/2012 , it was the holidays, so we took their children to Cameron Valley in Bangsar for breakfast, hear friends friends say there food fresh and special taste a bit, so we try ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ^ _ ^  and it seems indeed very ehmmmmmm .. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ and  if you are an avid tea lover, head down to Cameron Valley Tea in Bangsar.is the right choice ,(the eatery features nearly 60 different varieties of food and flavoured teas in the menu)










Egg Omelet with cheese n mushroom

Nepalese Momo, must try !!!! ( It is a combination of minced chicken and vegetables that is deep fried with wonton wrappers, served with freshly prepared salads.is a nice crispy snack not unlike our deep fried wantons. Eat it with the sweet, tangy tomato sauce, which we were told to be a hit among their other patrons.

Lempeng MyChef Brown Rice Pilaf

Happy Monday ^_^~~~~~ maybe ada yg dah start nak sediakan makanan buat berbuka puasa nanti /tea time~~~~ nak try tak lempeng nasi yang berbeza n specila sikit?
 cuba lah try menggunakan Product MyChef  untuk create pelbagai recepi, senang disediakan,sedaaappp n lazat dan healthy for family ( pasti berpuas hati ) ,kali ni i menggunakan MyChef Brown Rice Pilaf untuk membuat lempeng nasi, nak tahu rasa Lempeng Nasi Brown Rice Pilaf?
mari kita start ~~~~~~~~~~~~

Bahan2nya:
MyChef Brown Rice Pilaf ( dipanaskan selama 4minit dgn microwave)
1/2 cawan air
1biji telur
2ulas bawang putih dan merah( cincang halus)
1cawan tepung gandum
garam secukup rasa
2sdm minyak masak
( untuk kuah/pencicah ikut suka kita@




Cara:/
1.kisar Brown Rice Pilaf bersama air, masukkan tepung ,garam dan minyak masak, kisar/kacau hingga sebati, tuang kedalam bekas dan gaulkan dengan bawang merah dan putih ,
2.Panaskan non-stick pan, lenser sedikit minyak,ambil adunan  lempeng, masak hingga kekuningan/terbalikkan  dan masak sehingga keperangan, masak sampai adunan td sampai habis, siap di hidangkan bersama kuah sesuai selera~~~~


I suka makan lempeng ni dgn tomato n mayonis ^_^ rasanya ehmmmmmmm

Dumpling Kukus My Chef Chicken Makhani


Hi, friends wanna try my new menu today?TEA TIME , today i buat
 "Dumpling Kukus CHICKEN MAKHANI"
kerana hari ni  tak plan nak kemana2/shopping, and anak2 i memang sangat suka dengan dumpling yang tranparents ni, dan bahan2  pun ada tersedia kat rumah( kerana setiap weekend anak2 i mesti nak makan dumpling , so bahan2nya selalu tersedia kat rumah, hehehehe) , biasanya i buat dumpling sayur2an, but today i try use MyChef Chicken Makhani(boleh juga try MyChef Beef Keema), lepas siap dumpling ni, woww..i so puas hati juga, sedaaappp, tak sangka pakai produk MyChef Chicken Makhani, my dumpling lagi rasa ehmmmmmm...... (produk MyChef simple, sedaap n mudah di sediaakn,jimat masa i , tak payah buat bahan2 intinya lagi, ) (pssstt...nak tahu..anak i yg umur 12 tahun pun pandai masak, jika ada produk MYCHEF kat rumah, dia boleh try pelbagai recepi menggunakan MYCHEF, ) nak cuba try ni ?see kat bawa:

 Bahan-bahan Untuk Kulit Dumpling:
1.100 grm tepung kanji  (wheat starch)
2.200 grm tepung ubi ( Tapioka  flour)
3.1/2 sdt  gula
4. 2 sdm  minyak masak
5 .secubit garam
6.500 ml  air panas mendidih
 Bahan- bahan inti:
MyChef Chicken Makhani (panaskan di microwave selama 4 minit)
tapis kan kuah chicken makhani, haluskan Chicken Makhani dengan sudu,





Cara membuat kulit dumpling:
1- Campurkan kedua-dua tepung dalam mangkuk besar
2- Masukkan garam,gula dan minyak masak kedalam air, dan masak sampai mendidih .kacau rata.
3- Tuangkan campuran air panas tadi kedalam mangkuk tepung dan guna sudu untuk mengacau adunan.Kacau tepung hingga menjadi doh dan ketepikan hingga sejuk.(boleh mula menguli doh bila tepung dah tak terlalu panas untuk dipegang).





4- Taburkan tepung ubi atas papan canai dan canai doh menjadi nipis dan terap dengan penerap bulat(.masukkan bahan inti)Pastikan doh disapu banyak tepung ubi bila menerap supaya senang untuk mengambilnya dan tidak melekat bila disusun.Buat la sampai habis.
5.Sapukan pinggan atau steamer degan minyak masak sebelum letak dumpling. Sapukan sedikit minyak pada permukaan dumpling supaya tidak melekat. Kukus selama 8-10 minit. Biar sejuk sedikit baru keluarkan dari pinggan / steamer
kalau nak sedaapppp lagi bolehlah di taburkan bawang putih goreng, daun bawang, n makan dengan sos chili...yummy yummy.....
